Competition Management - Verify Entry Corrupt or invalid Image File

    Hi there,

Haven't been on the site for a while, but thought I'd get back into a bit of CC and comps. However, when I tried to enter an image in the weekly comp I got the following message:

    Competition Management - Verify Entry
    Corrupt or invalid Image File.

Is there a particular reason why I might be getting that? I've double checked the WxH and size is 243kb jpg so I'm not sure what the problem is...?

    Cheers!
    Andrew.

250KB for the comp system is 250,000 bytes, anything over that will reject

    Hi..
My file size is now 218k
    1024 x 603
System now says "Corrupt or invalid Image File." again.
Can the metadata or use of an old editing program cause a problem.

I'm getting the same problem - my image is within the file size and dimension limits. It also loads fine in many different photo utilities but for some reason it's getting rejected.

Hmmm... We changed the EXIF processing. It would seem the EXIF data is corrupt, try stripping it before uploading.

Yeah - I just fixed the problem.

    FYI (Technical):
cPanel/WHM (our management console) had a major upgrade yesterday (it's an auto update).
As a result a component used by the competition system (jhead) was slightly broken.
I fixed the problem (explicit path required).

Obviously it was Rick's fault for Jynxing things with his April fools day attempt at a joke
