Time for a Melbourne/ VIC meet?

    Hey all,
Just checking to see if anyone would be interested in a Melbourne/VIC meet in the next month or so? I still haven't been to one and I need a great reason to take a break from thesis writing

Yes the Melbourne Photograhers Google+ group meet regularly. I haven't managed to get to a meet yet, but will be doing their meet on the 31st which I posted about here.

It would be good to get another AP meet in Melbourne going though, it's been a while since we caught up.

I'd be interested in another meet up, now that I'm back from holidays, but 6.00am on the 31st is way too early for me.

Hey John, yes 6AM was a little crazy. It has been pushed back to 7AM and we are going to have two parts to the day, a morning walk, BBQ at lunch time and an afternoon walk.

More info here if anyone interested... https://plus.google.com/u/0/108788369888910953749/posts

I went on the walk this morning. It was great fun and I would do it again. Unfortunately I had to bail out at 11:30 am, but I had a ball wandering the streets of Melbourne with like-minded people. The walk certainly caught the attention of by-standers who were quite bemused by so many people wielding DLSRs, polaroids, tripods, flashes and a few odd looking cameras. The Pancake Parlour donated pancakes to the troop, which gave us all the necessary sugar-fix to carry on. Thanks Google+ for staging the walk! It was fun.

It was a great meet, over 100 in attendance at the start. It was actually Google that put on breakfast, as well as ice-Cream for those of us left at 5PM! (Google gave the organisers a credit/debit card to cover breakfast and snacks with what was left.)

Great day out and I'm loving Google+!! Check out the day at Google+, just search for #thewalkdownunder or follow this link. https://plus.google.com/s/%23thewalkdownunder

Cmon AP Melbournites, its time for another meet of our one!
