    Thanks Guys - I had a great day yesterday celebrating with my Mum (who turns 87 today BTW) and family at a lovely restaurant then back to my place for cake and coffee. I had more cake and birthday celebrations today at work sharing it with one of the teacher's that I work with.
    Hubby refused to buy me camera gear (even though I hinted that I need a new speedlight flash) and bought me a beautiful necklace instead. The boys are getting some of my work printed and framed for me. I also received some beautiful flowers which I will be photographing this afternoon and some cash which I will put forward to the flash.
    I am still waiting to hear from #1 son to bestow lots of birthday wishes upon me and hoping he hasn't forgotten - he's away on holidays in Northern NSW at the moment.

    Thanks Shelley. He finally text me at 11pm that night after he received my text as in my previous post. Chris said "he hadn't forgotten but he was out all day buying my present and hadn't had time to ring"......yeah pull the other leg son! He rang me the next day and all was forgiven! - I can't wait to see what he bought me. Chris always puts a lot of thought in his presents to me.

    All the best, and may you not have had even half of your birthdays yet.

    I wouldn't worry about not getting a message from your son until late, my father forgot my birthday 3 years in a row, and mine is only 8 days after his!
    For my last birthday, all he he gave me a crappy picture of my wife and myself, taken with his camera phone and printed on plain paper with lovely green tinges on my forehead!
    All my photos are taken with recycled pixels.
