Photo of the Week #297, starting this evening (26th Febuary 2012) has an additional requirement!

The Photo of the Week #297 which opens for entries this evening has a theme of "DEPTH OF FIELD", as such, we require each entry to use the entry title field to place the f/stop (aperture value) that your entry photo was taken at, into the entry title field.

So if you took your entry at f4, then you need to put 'f4' in the entry title field as you undertake entering your photo.

    THANKS

Morning Rick, Are you looking for good use of DOF in an Artistic way , Or in a way that compliments the image (EG : Bokeh) or separation from the main subject type thing ?

PS : Or none of the above, Just supply the f stop

The theme is Depth of Field, so entries should demonstrate good use of DoF.
A landscape that was focused at the hyperfocal distance with everything in focus should not score as well as something that has a obvious creative use of DoF

Usually no. Once disqualified, you cannot re-enter, but I am discussing this with the mods for those that did not put the aperture value in the entry title field.
