    Switch Board

Ever wonder what happens when the power switchboard has a fault?
Taking photos for the CFA has enabled me to share images to enlighten others. (not the ones that are under investigation)
The building (Shed) owned by an engineer has 3 phase power. There was a short in the switchboard.

    Thanks for looking. Geoff.

This is what is left of the meter box

yow, what a mess. Next door neighbour had a main switch short a few years ago. I was up in my shed approx 30-35 metres away and it sounded like someone using an arc welder. I couldn`t work out what the noise was until I saw the sparks coming from the meter box. Very scarey. The house fortunately didn`t catch on fire.

What a mess Geoff - but that first photo is truly beautiful. Should be in an Art Gallery.

Another vote for #1 - scary to think what may have happened. Hope they saved the shed.
