I'm planning on going in on Wednesday with my wife and friend, and I will have a look at Matisse exhibition too. I went to a talk given by Siegfried last Wednesday at The Masters Apprentices, very interesting person and lovely photos. He was inspired in his work by looking at Fred Williams land scape paintings. I have a bit of a hearing problem but I think he said he uses a Rollieflex, 21/4 square film camera, which of course has a viewfinder at the top so it's held at about waist level and gives him a different perspective of scenes.

I went to have a look at this exhibition last week, not a lot of prints but they are mostly big, 20" square at least, chromogenic prints, very interesting.
Not your normal scenic landscapes.
Only open till the 19th but anyone in Brisbane, probably worth visiting.
