Having made a couple of "identification errors" prior to posting pics recently (see "The Day I Tickled A Funnel Web"), I thought it might be a good idea to get a list of websites together where help might be found in the identification of flowers and insects for those of us who indulge in macro, flower and bird photography. This is, by no means, a comprehensive list so I hope others can contribute their own links that they use.

does not fully work, I think you need the program software to aid in keying out.

Yep, it appears so. Seems like a ploy to buy the software so we can scratch that one out.

Just adding further comments to that program, to key out the family of a given plant is pretty full on if your not a biologist/horticulturalist, personally I would stay well clear because you do need to pull out the microscope and dissect the flower to be able to put the required data into the programs fields, even using a key book the same information is required.

But I did bookmark the http://www.allcreativedesigns.com.au...lltrees11.html - Tree Leaves, Tree Bark, Tree Flowers & Fruit Identification link that is a ripper thanks for that.
