I would go to Pebble Beach, only a little further ( if you are coming from Brisbane) and you get the choice of mangroves or Bribie Island for the sun to come up over.

Maybe I might pop by again for a look ... go to the end of Biggs, like Jason said. Park at the carpark and walk south and you'll find loads of interesting mangrove trees.

We should do a group shot/meetup when the tide is better although I'm open to advice idea's against what I call a better tide
When I shot myself I chose a morning when high tide was around 7 730am and Sunrise 6 630

It will be good to catchup again Jason sounds like Gold Scrub Lane again still remember trying to get the tripod to stand under water with all the grass was a struggle and not to say the cold.

I am getting there tomorrow want to get some nice reflections in the water of the dead trees think will be interesting.

We have not done a group meet for a long time - time to organise one before the sun starts to come up too early.

At 5.30am this morning it was too low, the trees were already out of the water. Perhaps with low tide being an hour later tomorrow ... ?

So did you go Dwarak? If so, was it any good?

Yep, keen to see what you got.
While we're waiting, here's one from me yesterday. Jason, I reckon you're right on the mark about being there an hour or two off high tide.

Was a good morning still I got some practice & a chat with some photographers

On the way home I had a bit of a win finding myself a cool new location :-) with a run down abandoned farm shed
