Found this video tutorial on how to make a grey background turn different colours with 2 strobes, hope it's helpful to someone ;)

My grey background arrived - thought I would post to show it can be done ;) These are all SOOC, just resized in lightroom and converted to JPEG.
Background is a "chalky" grey colour.

Close to black (with some tweaking to my lighting setup I should be able to get that perfect black)

All of these were created with the same background, moving lights around and changing apertures ;)

well done! This was something I was reading up on yesterday but havent had a chance to play with yet. Congratulations to your very patent model who looks fabulous!

Thanks! She's a cutie but she so hates it when I pull out my gear now :(

I need to work on my lighting skills but I am happy with the first real attempt....
