I am contemplating buying some YoungNu flash units and remote firing devices (for inside real estate photography). My question is, what do you use to set the remote flash units on? Would I have to get something with flash sockets?

Odille, if you want to use a soft box or diffuser such as an umbrella then an ordinary light stand and bracket like the one linked below will do the job.

If you want to simply support the flash and then bouce bare light the simplest way to go is a combination of a tripod and a flash stand that mounts to the QR plate. Linked below

G'day Odille

all of my slave flash triggers have a tripod thread on their 'bums' - so (after you get yours) you may wish to chase up some very lightweight tripods

Thanks to you both.

Andrew, that protog site looks great, I've bookmarked that.
Phil, I was thinking lightweight tripods might be the way to go, I could put the mount on top.

They make a nice mess to the flash head when they fall over too those lightweigh tripods, best also look at weight bags.
