Hi AP'ers
I need a 24-70mm lens.
I can't afford the nikon 24-70 as much as i would love to get one, so i'm looking at the Sigma version.
It has some mixed reviews ranging from "don't bother" to "OMG i want to have it's babies".
There are 2 versions, the HSM version and the Macro version. As far as i can tell the only difference is that the macro version doesn't have the hyperwave silent motor, so would be 'noisier'.
Has anyone used both and can comment on the difference?
Anyone got the HSM version in Sydney and wants to let me have a go with it?
