It's Not Beautiful, and its sure don't look young but this Muscovy Duck was enjoying its self in the Lagoon this afternoon..
It was splashing around like a young one but when it came back to the land it looked so old.

Only a Mother could love it, It was such a friendly duck we chatted for a while
Certainly a one sided conversation it left after a while and went back into the water :D

I had heard the name but I never knew what they looked like.
There are so many beautiful ducks around but that one sure isn't one of them. Poor thing.

Ray they are a domestic Duck and people dump their unwanted ducks at the lagoon down the street and around the corner.
We get all kinds of birds in our back yard, this black Muscovy Duck was down the chook yard last year, not as ugly as that white one.
Just flew in like most birds do..
