This before and after pp. Anything to make it better or anything I overdid, etc. Used Lightroom 2

The processing really brought out his eyes well :)

Thanks Cat. I have been doing selective sharpening and saturation of pupils and then normal sharpening of whole photo in Lightroom. Was worried if it was too much.

Just noticed Nate has a lot of green around his hairline and some under his chin. Does anyone know what causes this in LR2?

Not overdone at all. A vast improvement on the original which was a little underexposed.

No green on my monitor (calibrated within the last week).

I see a lot of green in photos that shouldn't be there on my monitor. Looks like my next purchase will be Spyder 3. I was hoping to get a printer first but should really get calibrated first.
Thanks Dave.

Really nice job on the pp Carmen. I'd be inclined to crop the top just above Nate's head (making 8x10 ?) and maybe try to blend in the dark crease lines running each side near the top a bit.

Cheers.

Just went to CS3 and made canvas wider on the RHS and cloned in background. Does it look better? Also took shine from under lip and on lip.

Great job on the eyes Carmen. Is it just me or does the background you added in on the right look a little fuzzy compared to the rest? Gorgeous pic though :)

Thanks Phil. I will give blending a go, I agree those lines are annoying.
Thanks Justin. Did a really quick job on the cloning and it is very blurry so I will try again.

Nice job. maybe I am a bit picky but the skin tone for me might be a bit light, back about 3 to 5 percent would help to keep some shape in the face rather than too flat looking. As I say, may be just me.

Thanks Jim, I will give it a try.

Well, been learning how to clone in CS3 and cloning all night and it's finally finished, I think.
What's your verdict.
