Attack of the stick insect (squeamish warning)

At a bbq on Australia day we noticed one of the cats were suddenly very interested in something hiding away in the garage. It was one big insect alright! A kind man saved it from the cat and brushed off all the cobwebs and put it up in the safety of a tree. It made a funny couple of photos (no insects were harmed in the making) :)

The stick insect will not hurt him but the smoking surely will

Hmmmm…….. stick insects at a BBQ. Must say, Mongo has had them lots of ways before but never BBQed yet.
