Hi all,

Just buying a few things through ebay and wondering if those Yongnuo 10m SC28 compatible sync cords are ok? I've noticed most to be no more than 3m stretched and wondering if there are issues with the 10m length. The cord is only $12 more than the short one so better have the length than not I guess, if they are OK.

Thanks :)

At $12, why dont you try it out and report back to us!

I have bought cheap cables off ebay before, whether it be a hot-shoe extender cable or a sync cable and I've never had a problem. There isn't much to them.

I agree with Brodie, I have Ebay remotes and cable releases, at the price, they are certainly worth a try.

Um, it was $12 more than the 3m one - not $12 in total. If I could find one for $12 I wouldn't have bothered asking first!!! :)

As it was the 3m was about $36, the 10m $48

As it is, I got:
Flash diffuser softbox for Nikon SB800
33" 83cm Pro Studio White Translucent Umbrella
YN-465 YN465 Flash Speedlite fr Nikon
Remote Switch Cord MC-DC1 for Nikon D80 D70S,
Swivel Flash Bracket with Umbrella Holder
SC28 10m cord

All for $150 inc post. Gotta love ebay.

I remember seeing somewhere a guy go his sync cord adn cut it in 2 peices. The put some network outlet connectors on each end. Then using cat 5 network cables was able to have any length he wanted...
