Merry white Christmas and Happy New Year to all on AP:xmas31:

Snowcovered tree with tiny red apples

As it continued to snow, even the little pond got covered

Suddenly the sun broke out, and everything looked so crisp and white.

It is not a beach, but glistening white snow

Snowdrift made this "curtain". I have never seen it that long, the weight of it usually makes it break off much earlier.

...and the snow continues. I am afraid it will be a long time before anyone can play basketball here.

The table and chair is still out, but too cold to enjoy it.

Thank you Ruth, that cooled me down nicely.
I particularly like the sparkle in the snow in the "beach" picture.

Ruth, you’re a breath of cool air. These have hit the spot for sweltering Ausies. Mongo particularly likes the first 3.

And a very happy Christmas and New Year to you !

Nice shots. My son & his Polish partner are glad they are here right now with the conditions in Europe! Last Xmas they were skiing with family in Poland. Nice to have the choice. Something I would have loved to have 35 years ago. Now my bones prefer the WA climate.

Thank you for the comments.
Tony B: Yes, my bones too prefer the warm climate in Australia. I lived there for nearly 12 years, but it was strange to celebrate a warm Christmas

Lovely shots Ruth. I'm jealous - I would love to experience a White Christmas. My youngest son has just travelled to Austria to visit his girlfriend - I received an email yesterday telling me that there was snow but the sun was shining. He is also a keen photographer and was looking forward to capturing some snowscapes.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. :santa::xmas31:

Thanks everyone for the comments. There are plus-temperatures again and nearly all snow has gone for now. I´m glad, I have the photos.
Happy New Year

Nice Photo's Ruth, but you can keep the snow, no good for my aching bones.
