satellite Broadbans Plans?

I am trying to find some good value options for some friends who are on painful dialup and cannot get any ADSL where they are - satellite is their only option. I realise that rates are not going to be as good as ADSL, but can anyone recommend some good companies that are worth considering? Plans that do not charge for excess usage would be preferable.

Nope, where they are they cannot even pick up nextG, up the road they can, but I don't think lugging their computer there would be practical.

Dial up latency is a problem too when they are fetching speeds of around 1.2kbs per second!
