Hi all,

Has anyone used or had experience with this lens? I am thinking of getting it because it can take 180 degree all sky images. If anyone has any reviews of this lens could you please let me know what you think of it... Is it worth it, are there better lenses for this type of work? Main use would be all sky images for night time meteor observations. So the f2.8 would be very handy, shame it doesn't come in an f/1.2 :D

I guess this must be a pretty popular lens, given the amount of feedback :D

No haven't been able to get one, mainly because of cost... It's still on my list of lenses to get though

Think I may go with the 10mm....but i like the idea of the 4.5mm....just can't see me using it a lot....

looking at results from the 4.5mm I really dont think much of it. it doesnt use the entire chip for one nad creates a circular photo. i reckon the 10mm would be better too... I think theres a good 8mm fishy out there too.

If it's f2.8 or lower and gives 180 degree FOV then I am happy to use it... It's for meteor photography, which having the full view is very handy...
