a simple strobist setup inspired by Dustin Diaz (http://photography.dustindiaz.com)

shot with 50mm F2 pre-AI.

Umm cant guess, but I can see Cd's and it looks under exposed.. So i would say no flash?

But there must be some light to reflect from the CD's

it does look cool though, just a shame you can tread the 35 1.8 bit..

there is flash actually!

Single Strobe snooted at camera right mounted on a tripod at 1/8 power pointed towards a handy mirror set on camera left facing a 45deg angle to hit the rear background reflectors.

and the 35mm 1.8 bit can be read because i meant to do that.. wanted to give it an advertisement feel to it i guess!

and there are CDs! to give cool reflections and effects :efelant:

Interesting shot. The use of the CD's is smart.

I would have liked a little more fill light to show the ridges in the lens cover.

thnks scottie! yeah i would definitely want tht too. bt ran out of battery for the flash at the time! dang. n i still havent gotten arnd to get a fresh set since im in the midst of final exams!
