Hi all,

I came across this photo taken by Clark Little and was wondering how he was able to shoot directly into the sun and yet still maintain good colour in the wave??

I was thinking that maybe he was using something like a graduated filter, but where the shaded area is circular and located in the centre of the filter (rather than horizontal like a regular filter)...if that makes any sense...??

Or maybe there was just so much light that a quick shutter speed was still ample..?

Any ideas?

Andrew.

You can link to the photo, ie. put up the web address so we can click through to it, but posting a copy of someone else's photo on Ausphotography breaches their copyright.

On a bright sunny day, there would be a lot of light coming through that wave. He had to have a fast shutter speed to freeze the water so effectively, and then some work in PP to bring it all out

Cracker of a photo though, well worth the effort.
