i am looking at buying a used camera online to get me buy while i am saving for my other camera. What i am asking is what is the test counts on shutters, i seen somewere that cameras are tested at 150 000 shutters. The one i am looking at is around 8000.

I think u are looking for the rating of the shutter assembly, some are rated at 100k, some at 150k, and high end pro ones over 200k - meaning that the shutter assembly has a life cycle of around that mark in terms of actuations, before it is due for a replacement or servicing.

8000 is quite young, what camera is it?
