Hi Guys,

I searched the forum first and didn't really find what i was after.

I am just after an easy to understand run down on what they actually do?

They allow you you sync many flashes??

Hi

As many as you like, providing you have one attached to every flash and they also allow for high speed sync up to 1/8000 sec. Best idea would be to go to their website, they have a lot of info there. You may like to also have a look at the strobist website-Loads of good tutorials.

I Have a sensor that i attach to camera and then put the flash to slave.

how does the pocket wizard do this differently/better??

PWs use radio rather than IR, so they operate over a longer range, don't need to be in line-of-sight and can communicate through walls, windows etc. They're pretty expensive but supposed to be totally reliable.
