Hey all, the Outlaw has asked me to take some family portrait pictures. Now i want to do it inside with lights..

Need some general help as i have never done this before.

*How many Lights? wireless triggers?

*where to hire from/best places?

etc anything that will help me..

one or two lights will do it; you can use your camera flash as a trigger. Flash meter is very important.

Personally I feel you are asking for trouble with the outlaws if you are considering using the unknown. Best to practise on something unimportant for a while; simple photography lighting is not hard; but can go wrong easily.

Well, Id reconsider this

Try to do outside in nice shade with a nice leafy backdrop

If inside unless youhave room and time and skill to set up a temp studio maybe just a simple off camera bounced speedlight will do the job.
