On a very odd occasion I might want to print A3 prints at home. Given time and opportunity I'll usually send off to RGB

The Epson 1410's price point ($600 or so) seems attractive

Any comments on the printer at all ?

not one response eh Kiwi....did you end up getting it? I just bought one from office works for $350 after they price matched and then reduced a futher 10% to one I found on my iphone whilst in the store? Ive read that its an ok printer although obvioulsy not latest model these days. I actually got it because it does dvds. I needed that and could have got that cheaper with canon pixma thing but thought for the extra 100 clams I might as well get an A3 printer.

I got one 18 months ago & generally happy with it providing I use epson paper & profiles.

I gave up trying to get the colour right with spyder 3 print

John, are you using the profiles that came with it or have you found others. Ive googled but not found much.

Sorry for the delay, we've been on holidays and not been checking the internet much (back home as of about 6 hours ago damn)

I downloaded the profiles from the epson site, just to make sure they were the most up to date.

I now make my own profiles with a Colormunki, but previously I found the best profiles were usually from the paper manufacturers.

Same as for profiles, handy, cheap printer but I wish I had saved for the R1900 ( I think) for better Black and white production. All the big stuff goes out for printing, so really this is just a nice toy
