Hi all i've been pondering about the focus distance meter on my lens. i.e.
Tarmon 28-75mm has 0.2-3m, Canon 70-200mm has 3-10m.
A few questions if any one could answer these.
Q1. Does the focus meter range indicate that the focus only works well in these ranges?
i've been wondering what happens when a lens focuses at infinity as when i borrowed a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8 the pictures turn out quite soft when it kept focusing at infinity.
Q2. If it does focus at infinity can i increase the DOF from 2.8 -> f11 to make it "sharper" but flattening the subjects?
