I recently (18mths tops) purchased a Benro HD3 panhead and whilst it is a very stable head it is fitted with a PG10 quick release plate and grip
Benro have now released a HD3A head which uses a swiss Arca style clamp which is more useful to me as all my lenses and bodies are swiss Arca
Has anyone had any experience in converting this head to swiss Arca ?
I have been quoted upwards of $130 + to convert it but can buy a complete head for $230!
I have contacted the Benro distributor about perhaps changing the top component but they do not carry spare parts for these heads so am left with a quandry:confused013
Anybody interested in purchasing a slightly used, perfect condition pan head:D
