Just came across this 2 day event starting tomorrow (Sat 27th Aug 2016).

Does anyone have any experience in attending this event in terms of how suitable it would be for aeroplane photography?

Cheers

Dennis

This has been running for years, now its an Airshow instead of a Fly-in. Pics have been OK in the past, but don't know about now.

So, what lens do I want on my camera at an air show like this?

Take everything, static planes to aerobatics will require different ranges.

Unfortunately due to other commitments I can’t attend this event. What gorgeous weather and beautiful blue skies for this weekend!:th3:

Good luck for those who get there, and be sure to post your take on the event.:)

Cheers

Would it be worthwhile lugging the tripod around?

Did anyone go along the airshow? How was it, I'd be interested in seeing a few of the photos.
