Hi,

Anyon in here use the F-Stop Loka bag? I am about to buy one but want to know if anyone has any real experience with airports as this bag has an internal steel frame.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Don't really want advice about other bags as I have some of those already. ;-)

Cheers

As carry-on luggage, it would pass thru the scanner conveyor and ... nothing...
As booked luggage... nothing.

Metal is only a "problem" when you're passing thru the detector frame.

Note: I don't know about this particular bag, just generalising from other and frequent enough airport eperiences :|

Yeah, I fly pretty frequently and the last bag I had with a metal frame, the ##### Security guard said I would have to check it in cause I could take the frame out and possibly fashion a "weapon" out of it. It took all of my self control to hold my tongue just so I could make that flight. Just want real options from anyone that has flown with this bag as carry on, not about to check my camera gear! Wouldn't trust the baggage handlers with fragile gear as far as I could throw them!

Cheers

I flew to USA on United with a loka, no problems.

Well, Langers, that does help fill in the picture a bit. Nothing like a bit of tension at the start of a trip!!!
I think you're asking about a steedle in a neighstack, with that specific bag, but you'd have to take Hakka's reply with some credence.

How would you have gotten the frame of without some sort or knife to cut the material holding it in place?
