Possibly. http://vaticaninsider.lastampa.it/en/the-vatican/detail/articolo/22827/

If so we know the previous pope Benedict XVI resigned on Feb 28th.
We also know that President Obama will be in Jerusalem on March 22nd
exactly 1 week before Good Friday.
March 11th is right in the middle of two 11 day periods.

The donkey is the emblem of the Democratic Party.
Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem.

March 11th 2002 to March 11th, 2013 = 11 years.

What happened on March 11th, 2002? They switched on a light memorial for
the twin WTC towers which were destroyed exactly 6 months earlier.

How long were the lights on for? 33 days.

What hours were they on for? 11am to 11pm.

What day were they switched off? April 13th

What form did they take? A giant numeral 11 shining vertically into the sky.

How many lights were there? 44 + 44.

A Tribute of Light.

Who is known as the Light Bearer or Light Bringer?

11 years plus 11days = March 22nd.

The new pope chosen and President Obama in Jerusalem a week before Good Friday.

Will he sign a Peace Treaty?

There are many things I`d like to understand.........and this is a big one......

after being pope and being infallible (not capable of making an error) how can he step down/backwards????

....hmmmmm...defies logic somewhat.

I just thought that being an EX catholic, I`d throw a spanner.

I was waiting for a punch line!!
Anyway,
Mr Ed reckoned Jesus rode a horse, not a donkey.
He'll be be in Jerusalem on March 22nd to kidnap President Obama.
He will not be released until history is corrected.
Nnnneigh, he'll also say "Oh, Wilbur for Pope."

Yep, apparently Peter was the first pope, I seem to remember one called Paul and wasn't there some girl called Mary linked in with the biblical stuff.
Quite a distinguished group actually and they have all moved on, or should that be, have been moved on?

This is not an oxymoron and I'm not sure if it's a tautology (any clues would be much appreciated :confused013) but, it's either:

"and the next pope will be a black muslim female!" or,

"and the next pope will be a black muslim lesbian!" :D

Anyway, I do get your drift :lol2:, cheers Deb

^ and she'll be riding a horse of cause,
unless that horse is a talking horse,
and if the horse is a talking horse,
she'll be riding Mr Ed.
(look out for that lady President Obama.)

So, will it be black smoke, or white smoke?

I'm willing to bet that it will be "holy smoke"!

(But only fourpence, mind!)

I'm not of the faith, but I don't reckon there would be too many who would happily put their hand up for the job.

Actually, having discussed this with friends, I believe you've managed to combine an oxymoron (Pope has to be Catholic, cannot be Muslim or female) with a tautology (female/lesbian).

Congratulations, it's been a lot of fun reading this thread :th3:, cheers Deb

I know of about 117 Cardinals who have all put their hands up and raced back to the Vatican to be in the running.

Good question Graeme. And if all the previous ones were supposedly infallible what might the next one appear to be?

Well, that could actually be more useful than advocating against the use of condoms in developing countries which have high rates of HIV infection :confused013

Hmmm, did they volunteer, or were they invited to attend the conclave?

"Holy"? As in "Holiness"? Not a lot of that around nowadays! Now there's "progress" for you!

Anyway, the tension mounts now that the chimney has been fixed. Santa (anagram please?) will never get down that one!

Smoke signals? The American Indians used those. Perhaps this new mob will do the same.. Wonder if they will sign off similarly... 'Two cardinals...'.

"So Wilbur, did they finally get a new Pope?"
"Yes Mr Ed, he's calling himself Francis."
"Oh Wilbur. A talking mule? They'd have been better with a talking horse."
"Different Francis. Though you could still be right Ed."

Well Francis I is a Jesuit and the first Jesuit to be elected pope. Has anyone read the Jesuit oath?

But is that which is called The Jesuit Oath true? Or is it a subterfuge?
How would you/they/we/us/and co be able to verify it as it stands?
I think (believe) it's a matter of personal belief (thinking).
Am(skeptical).

IF he does act and do something (serious action) about the kiddy fiddlers within the Catholic Church entirely, THEN he will gain my respect. Up till then he is just another person in a role of power. His actions will determine how many around the world perceive him and his church.
