Thanks everyone! I actually celebrated it on Sunday with family members as it is my Mum's 88th birthday today as well. Lots of lovely cake and presents from my work mates. I have yet to get a present from hubby and no. 2 son - they are wanting to know what I would like but haven't had a lot of time to think about it lately. Still waiting for no. 1 son, who is living in London , to send birthday wishes.....I suspect he has forgotten. :D

a very big happy birthday from Mongo Nellie. Hope you celebrate and enjoy it heaps. Mongo did notice the mention of much cake. Would not worry about #1 son, he will call soon or Mongo will make a house call on him.

Mongo really likes a woman who discloses her age. Mongo finds it so distasteful when he has to otherwise cut them in half and count the rings. Mongo has never found one where he has counted more than 20 rings - you work that out.
