Hi everyone!

Today, I took a photo of my sis-in-law's cake.
Since the background of the photo was crap, I erased the original background, using eraser tool, then added a layer as new background.

Now there are a lot of marks on the background if I see it carefully.
Is there any way to remove these marks?
I use photoshop CS6 by the way.

I am a newbie in the world of photography. Any help would be much appreciated :)
Thank you in advance!!

what 'strength' did you have the eraser tool set to, you have a slider that lets you adjust the percentage from 0-100 of how effective the tool is, at 0 it does nothing, at 10 it would erase slightly and 100 it would remove everything. My guess is you did not go over the same areas with the eraser tool repeatedly, and had it set at less than 100.

I just had a look at my setting.
The setting was 50%...of course!
Simple thing, but completely missed.
I'll try it with 100% strength again.

Thanks heaps ricktas :2encou:
