Prelude:
This is not in a very Christmassy vein, but at least it might end up as a financial windfall for the victim.

Optimist? Beggar belief by reading here. (http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/newshome/15710341/wrong-man-held-and-drugged-by-graylands/)

And who are running this asylum? Sounds like they should be the inmates/clients/patients. Here is a telling excerpt:

a man "fitting the description" was brought by police to Graylands, where ...staff wrongly identified him as the missing patient.

He was then administered the antipsychotic drug Clozapine...

Epilog: Well, wasn't it WA that was touted the state of excitement? (Sorry to all WA-ers.)

It's a shocker all right and, as you pointed out, the victim is likely to be entitled to compensation. Thank goodness the poor man didn't suffer a more adverse reaction, cheers Deb

You have to remember the police can only go on PC-correct identifiers like pale skin and average build or of dark complexion and two could be coffee...ummm.....brown.....ummmm darker eyes! :2enew:
