Hello,

I've read a few posts both on this forum and the web. Its seems an age old debate, with many different views.

I'm interested in some photography courses. Like most people I use the internet as a fantastic source to refine my skills - both getting the shot in camera and processing. I've done a few workshops which were extremely helpful. So I inquired at my local TAFE for photography courses - of which there are a number of choices. Some full/part time and other lasting only 8 weeks.

My problem is that I work fly in/out of Perth. So for an 8 week class I will only be able to attend half the time.

Has anyone got an opinion or experience with online courses? I see some are free and some are at a cost. Or even a flexible learning TAFE/college course that I could attend on my time off?

Its an avenue I'd like to go down to gain some qualifications next to my current trial and error method.

Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers.

Whilst it may not be termed a "course" so to speak, i have found the "kelby training " site to be quite informative.

Hey Wayne
Shoot are offering FIFO courses. I'm unsure of the skill level, but may be worth looking at....

Hi there Wayno.
Have you tried the library or learning plan contained in this site. I know that some like a structured type course that make us go through with deadlines. But if you are after a "In your own time" type thing these will help you heaps.

Library found here: http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showlibrary.php
