I have a Mac and Lightroom 4.1

For some reason have some photos have in Smart Collections. I surprised as I did not set up a smart collection . I wish to remove them back into my Lightroom Library. I tried manually , message came up unable to remove the photo as they are in Smart Collections.

Be grateful if you could help me with this.

thank you

Sue

Smart collections don't actually move your images from their original folders. They just "collect" them using certain criteria. For example: The default "Colored Red" smart collection (comes with lightroom by default) will automatically include all images you mark with a red flag (press 6 on the keyboard). However, the image remains in the original folder, the smart collection only has a pointer to it.
