If anyone else is interested this (http://www.ausphotography.net.au/forum/showthread.php?103708-Ausphotography-National-Meets-Day) was put forward by ricktas.

I'm up for it and wanted to know who else was interested and where should we go?

I am down in Albany Peter and assume you are talking about a meet in the metro area or close to ??

15-05-2012, 10:14am
I get back to Perth on the 4th so sadly unavailable.

15-05-2012, 10:26am
I'm keen!!

15-05-2012, 10:29am
pretty keen

where bouts ? any rough ideas

15-05-2012, 10:33am
Have a bucks night on the 2nd, but depending on how I pull up Peter, I could be there.

15-05-2012, 11:38am
I am on call with work, but as long as i am not up all night working the wife and I would be keen

15-05-2012, 2:05pm
I am a possibility. I can never be definite until closer to the time though. Keep us informed :)

15-05-2012, 3:23pm
Yes Peter I am of that weekend and should be a starter, I think a lot will depend on the weather, but if you want something central you can,t go past kings park, then you could go for a walk around that part of perth some interesting old buildings and things to shoot and then those that are keen could head of to the coast for sunset shoot just a thought.:beer_mug::efelant::scrtch:

15-05-2012, 7:05pm
Possible yes, but I have exams beginning the week after so will decide closer to the date. :)

Heading to the beach in time for sunset as Ashey mentioned sounds good to me! Have always wanted to do that...

15-05-2012, 9:01pm
Sorry have to give it a miss. 4 day weekend for me and off to lake Ballard for some pic taking:D

15-05-2012, 9:43pm
Keen, but have a photography gig covering a dance festival on Friday and Saturday nights. Will be processing most of the rest of the weekend.

At least part of Sunday should be free though, particularly a sunset shoot on the northern beaches.

15-05-2012, 10:37pm
At this stage I should be free - SWMBO will probably be working that weekend so I need to find something to do.

15-05-2012, 11:34pm
Also may be available.

Best regards

16-05-2012, 7:10am
Flying out of Perth that afternoon, so let me know the details and I will see if I can make it :)

16-05-2012, 10:33am
I would love to be there, and it will depend on family commitments at the time.
If birds and wildlife could be part of the mix that would be even better.

17-05-2012, 12:43pm
I cannot make it either.

17-05-2012, 4:19pm
I believe I'm on RNR for that weekend, so depending on the missus I'll be keen.

17-05-2012, 7:37pm
I would like to be part of this meet but only if it isn't raining or too cold, the knees just wouldn't cope !

17-05-2012, 7:55pm
I'm afraid I'll be stuck in Hawaii.:D Maybe next year. :)

17-05-2012, 11:15pm
Sorry, but we arrive in Broome on the 2nd..

Cheers Rev.

My knees (arthritis), back (missing disc and fractured vertebrae) and neck (motorcycle accident) sympathise with you.
I'll be there for sure.
Would love for you to join in.

Putting ideas out.
We have one member that would be great to include but conditions limit her access.
What I'm thinking is something in the Forrestfield area. I have to leave this to others for suggestions as I do not know the area at all.
So suggestions please?

28-05-2012, 2:22pm
I dont know the area that well either. Maybe the forestfield member could suggest somewhere that would be accessible to her?
I am a maybe...will depend on time of day more than anything and if I can persuade my other half to have the kids (I am only just back from 8 days away :-))
Hopefully I will be there though

30-05-2012, 1:40pm
I am afraid I am going to have to pull out of this one (not that anything has been confirmed yet but...) as I have decided to head down to Dunsbourough for the weekend to do a bit of fishing with some friends. :o :D Can't resist doing some fishing and will also have the chance to do some photography near the coast which isn't a chance I often get...

P.S Better decide soon what is going to be happening as there's not long till the weekend!!

31-05-2012, 9:09pm
This is now a no show for me as I have a family issue to deal with and the only day I can is Sunday.
Sorry. :(

31-05-2012, 9:29pm
Well we have a lot of interest and the next time will not be far away.

See you all soon. Next time with my 5D Mk III

31-05-2012, 10:54pm
Next time with my 5D Mk III

Does that mean I can have your 7D!? :) Seriously though, will you keep it or will the 5DMkIII be the new birding cam?
