AP off line before Mid-Day Qld time today Tuesday

I was replying to a post and when I clicked to Preview it nothing happened.
Cannot remember the exact time though I know it was between 11am and 12pm Qld Time
I tried all my usual sites AU and US no problems on any others
It was off for over a half an hour could have been longer I know it was a long time for me.
Wondering if it happened to any other Members..

Yep, Me too , No malformed headers or error 500's , Just could'nt access AP

Mary Anne , It's hard to fix something that is working fine at the time you look at it , Take it from a Motor Mechanic (By Trade) Intermittent things are a bugger , I'm guessing this is whats happening

We had a DDOS attack. That should be mitigated now.

Our hosting provider are still monitoring and stamping out the DDOS.

The server is fine and I managed to execute a backup so we have a safe snapshot.

Is any one else getting Aus Photography not responding??? I have had this four tmes tonight and It has been happening to me pretty regularly the last couple of weeks. i thought it must be all connected to the recent problems that everyone has been having but noone else has mentioned a simple not responding problem and I'm still getting it even though the site has been moved!! Any thoughts anyone? Ps I know the mods have been working hard to fix all issues and it is most appreciated. Karen

Apart from those two times today when it went off for quite a while the site has been great since it has been moved to the new server :crossed:

It *could* be you network connection.
I was monitoring continuously via a console session and it all looked ok till ~your post time (which is when I went to bed :) ).

The new server is consistently quick and not getting anywhere nearly full loaded so I'm not sure why you are seeing this behaviour.
